Who is organizing this?
Immersive for Kamala is being orchestrated by Steve Boyle, founder and CEO of Epic Immersive.
Epic Immersive creates large-scale immersive experiences across the globe integrating iconic and historic locations, authentic cultural collaborations, and new technology.
Epic also brings together the immersive community with events featuring leaders like the founders of Cirque du Soleil, Meow Wolf, and Punchdrunk, as well as Disney executives.
Today, we are rallying together the entire experience design community to save the world together with fun, engaging, and innovative political and fundraising experiences for Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and down-ticket Democrats.
Why are you doing this?
Because this is the most incredible, innovative, creative community on earth, full of people who know how to get things done with world-class design, execution, and fun.
Because America is worth saving. The world is worth saving. The planet is worth saving. And all are on the line.
As Tim Walz is fond of saying, how often do you get to spend 3 months writing the history of the world?
This the moment we have been waiting for. As Barack Obama would say, we are the ones we have been waiting for. This is our call to adventure.
What’s the plan here?
As we rally American immersive artists to join in, the organizing team behind Immersive for Kamala is working with political connections and intermediaries with the campaign to set up the nuts and bolts of political fundraising.
As this happens, we’re pulling together a massive nationwide team to create live fundraising events, virtual fundraising events, and additional experiences both centrally-planned and grassroots to promote and raise money for Kamala Harris for President.
August is focused on laying the foundation, building the team, organizing with political actors and campaigns, and rapidly preparing experiences. September is for fundraising events. October is for phone banking, organizing, and advocacy.
